I am not sure if fire scene is ok, it should be but some teachers very strict, like they want the compo to be mainly about the picture. I am not sure but that is what I heard some parents talking about just now.

My kid wrote about hearing some hissing noise in the library for the strange noise one. His friend wrote on bomb…err, what do you guys think? I am a bit worried after hearing the parents talking outside the school with their kids…

            Hi

My boy still need to stay back for supp class ????????? Very kiasu teacher!!

So I would like to know what is the continuous compo about and whether the paper 2 is hard.

What? serious? The teacher is really super kiasu. I won't let my child stay. DD plans to sleep, to read a book, (not textbook) and play table-tennis in the rest of day.

Sat still need to go back for supp class, siao right??

My dd said that she has made one mistake. I responded with a smile that it is ok as she has never obtained full marks for English before. 🙂

I am not sure if it is wise to discuss the content of the compo in details here as it may make the child feels that he/she may go out of point, thus losing some confidence. We just have to celebrate one paper down and move on to Maths now.

Yes that was what my kid’s friend wrote. He was quite worried and kept saying he did not know what else to write…I did not say anything, told him it should be ok…but was wondering if ticking sound could get louder?

Personally I find this year’s compos harder, like can easily go out of point and my kid said synthesis very tricky and overall paper seems tough

My DD wrote about the party and how they decided to draw on the wall to celebrate dad’s birthday, in the end get a scolding instead…think is it ok?

My dc also wrote a fire scene from the picture but outside the house !! really worried that it may be out of point ! Any english teacher out there to share your views ? Thanks

from what i know, being out of point is when students didnt take reference from what they see, and continue their story further and further... if he takes reference appropriately, i think should not be out of point..
