I think in this whole drama, CS and NBG's spouses are the real victims. It is equally agonising for Ng's wife to hear (what more from the 3rd party CS herself) that she (Ng's wife) could not give Ng what he wants and their marriage is not well etc. As a woman and wife, I feel for Ng's wife.
CS is lucky that that her daughter is still too young to know what her mother had done. At least it protects her from the shame and anguish.Lilac66:

Suddenly she felt wanted again. What really happens only they know very well. For the rest of us we can only guess from the news that was reported. Getting married is easily but to stay married needs a lot of hard work.

it is possible that C Sue was neglected much by her husband. Busy businessman - director of 6 companies. No time for her, she feeling v lonely & Gay happen to be the guy at that point in time paying her attention. And she long for attention, need a companion or someone to confide in, talk to. Although Gay is not handsome, but she could be attracted by his high position, authority, power, etc. Some women are like that - looks not everything that a woman look for; attraction sparks fly.
Otherwise, why did she tell defence lawyer in her statement that:-

after the whole incident saga over / die down, Gay has to settle hefty, expensive legal fees ! He may end up ... $ broke, marriage broken. A broken man.
divorce, adultery ... are the best source of $ business(es) for lawyers to earn big buck, collect thick, fat cheque - laughing all the way to the bank!
