All About Supplements for Children

Hmmm…I shall look up iherb.com. Normally I buy my supplements locally.

Hi Glade,
You should definitely consider getting yr supplements from iHerb. Local stores get their stock overseas too and charge double or more of the iHerb online retail prices. And you get fresher supplements by getting it directly from States. You have no idea how long the supplements have been sitting in the local stores before you purchase them. Supplements which has gone rancid would be a total waste of money. iHerb turnover is pretty high. I also love that they display the expiry dates of each supplement online unlike some other sites.
iHerb is running a 10% discount on all items (for purchases $60 & above). They dun run this straight off 10% discount too often. Maybe once a yr only. This is a great time to buy. But do it by 30 Sept USA time ya.
And actually, you can get $10 off for any first-time purchase of $40 or more if you have a discount code. Up from the usual $5. You can use mine if you wish: YEN647.
Feel free to PM or post questions on this forum if you have any other qns, am sure all the mummies here which are iHerb fans will be happy to help

I give my 11 months old boy Childlife colostrum and Nordic Natural Baby DHA. My first time purchase from iherbs using the discount code given by nice mummies here.
I have always purchased these supplements from local supplier but I find that the price is the same or a little more expensive if I were to buy from iherb without the discount. Those 1st timer interested to purchase from iherb can use this discount code CKM772. https://www.iherb.com
Anyway, can I ask whether Nordic Naturals, Children's DHA in Strawberry Flavor is suitable for 1 year old? And also I have heard that it's good to add pure olive oil in the food for kids. Anyone tried that? -
Hello parents,
I am organising some overseas sprees to buy some supplements for my 2 boys - Sambucol For Kids (both US and UK version) and OptiBac probiotics.
Both my boys have tried them and there are positive results so far. Hence I am getting more (and also on a long-term basis). The websites where I will be getting them are: iHerb, ChemistDirect and OptiBac. Have some good discounts from these websites so I am sharing their lower prices with everyone here.
Feel free to join in if keen.

yeng:
Green Pastures and Weston Price also recommend to take it in the morning with high quality butter oil from grass fed cows (it has Vitamin K)vfong1:
Should fish oil be taken in the morning or in the night?
I would take it in the morning and if u take probiotics at night before bed.
I also chase it down with freshly squeezed orange juice (it has bio-available easily absorbable natural calcium)

Hi mummies,
I just logged into my iHerb acc and if appears that they are offering free delivery for shipping via Global Mail by DHL. Not to sure yet whether it is a short promotion or a permanent feature. Let's hope it is for good. No harm making a purchase now if we need something. They seemed to have also lowered the DHL rates from $12 to $10 as a base amount. They have also introduced a new delivery option Euroasia catered for Singaporeans.
For those new to iHerb, I just wrote a detail blog entry on purchasing from them and some price comparisons. You can read about it http://wp.me/s1aTYr-469. -
I just received this email from iHerb:
"Now through October 31st, our Eurasia Express shipping method is free for orders over $60.00!"
Delivery takes 4-8 business days.
Tracking is available.
Orders up to $105.00.
Limit 15 lbs per order.
This promo makes this method more attractive than the "Global Mail by DHL" method if you buy by this month. Faster, provides tracking of your parcel, allows you to buy more per order and also heavier items.
Btw, the Global Mail by DHL method is FOC permanently :-)) But I would definitely stock up this month to make use of the Eurasia Express shipping method since there is a promo now. -
Agree Iherb price is much cheaper than local price. E.g. Childlife Probiotics with Colostrum…GNC is selling S$60+ per bottle. I paid only about S$23 incl shipping from iHerb.
