what I heard is the principal said that all the twinning kids did very well.... and F class yes they did well... but not the other 5 classes. F class is banded for Maths & Science too. Hope the above helps all those in Nan Hua.
What was the average T-score of the twining class this year? and What T-score are the top 10 in F to A class ? How many DSA offered received by twining and F class respectively this year?

Just don’t understand why the GEP and twining class pupils only do HCL in this school at P5 and 6? Why can’t they have both since they also need to prepare for PSLE eventually? Is they HCL CA , SA format kind of a mix of CL and HCL or same as mainstream HCL?

Is this the only GEP centre which allow non-GEP students to do GE stuff like porfolio and SS ? What are the other GEP schools’ arrangement like?

            Hi

My girl in GEP P6 next year. Any ideas whether will Nan Hua teacher brief them on how to prepare for the DSA like portforlia or interviews.

Any idea what types of questions they will be asking. Is GEP students stand a better chance.

            Tks

                Hi 2centsworthy,

Thanks for the detailed information! Glad to hear that good teachers are also assigned to mainstream classes. Now pri sch so complicated, during my time much simpler to understand.

hi, my son will be in NHPS next year in P4 GEP and transportation is really a big headache to us. I have wrote to the P to get helpas the current school bus company does not provide service in Woodlands area BUT no reply from her. And the private bus company that I have contacted wanted to charge me $400+ for the two trips daily, which is very expensive. May I know from those parents staying in Woodlands area, how do you send your children to school?

yappie…$400+ is too much! i have asked the same qn as i stayed in Woodlands also but no reply. some suggested to go down during school day and checked with the existing pivate school bus provider there.

hi ilynn, thank you for your suggestion.

Since the Comfort bus company which is appoitned by the sch cannot provide the service, I have actually make an effort to find out the rest of the existing Private bus service provider from NHPS and only one provides the service to Woodlands but what annoyed me is that he is demanding at $400+, thinking that I have no other alternative but to get his service. I did not want his service as it is really ridiculous! I have checked up the cost from Woodlands to NYPS is only $120 and here the guy is demanding $400 and my son will be last one to alight from the bus everyday. No way to pay this person $400!

BTW, Which level is your child in? How do you send you child to sch? do you train him to take the bus or MRT? What time does the sch morning flag raising start: at 7.15 am or 7.30am?
