          dasalo:
3 boys, go to the wholesaler at The Verge in Serangoon. Parking is kinda weird as it does not go directly to shops but it's a haven for shopping for Christmas Trees and decoratives. It is on the 5th level.

Sorry, I meant to say the car park building isn't the same building as The Verge. It's an extension building next to it and you have to access via a link bridge to get to The Verge and it's either on the 3rd or 6th level.

            Hello,

            Must it be 8-feet tall?

You may want to check the Christmas Tree from here: http://decolizard.com/christmas-special/

They are selling 1.6 meters (around 5.5ft) tall artificial Christmas Tree with full decoration for S$40 only. Also, I heard from a friend that the assembling service (for additional fee) is executed very well. šŸ™‚

            Hope this info helps.

IKEA is having offer this Christmas to buy a live xmas tree and the good thing about the offer is you can bring the tree after Christmas is over to get 50% refund.

More information can be found here:
              http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_SG/campaigns/2014/christmastree.html

This is also a good resource for buying artificial or live Christmas tree in Singapore.

This is the first time in a decade we have not bought a real tree. This year my wife spent over £300 GBP on a seven foot artificial one from John Lewis, here in England.

Stupid really, I would have been happier with a much cheaper one. Maybe, Scrooge was right about frugality.
