Anyone knows how they sec 1 students know which class they are going? Because they were grouped according to alphabetical order on the orientation day

It was mentioned during S1 registration that parents can check the school website on the 31st Dec for the sec 1 class list allocation.

School website indicate that 1st day of school starts from Day 8 of the timetable.๎

My girl gets 242 and she is not strong in her Chinese. However we are considering nan chiau high or tanjong katong girl school. Will she suffer if she enter a SAP school instead?

The school has classes that took higher Chinese as well as classes that took normal Chinese. I spoke to my girl who is currently in Sec 2. She said in NCH, all pupils take Chinese culture but that does not really require one to be strong in Chinese.
I donโt think this is an area for concern. In fact, I see it as an advantage to learn more about the culture.
