Ballet in NAFA vs SBA
-
Hi
I’m planning to send my 4years old dd for ballet class. NAFA or SBA was in my mind. Any parents here send their dd to either of the school? could you share with me your experiences ? Which school is more fun and has better exposure? -
Hi,
I’m not sure of SBA, but nafa ballet does not require their student to take any exam. They only issue certificate of participation. But from what I know, their standard is quite good and infact the students learn more because they do not just learn the requirement rountine for taking the exam. They have performance every other year and the rehersal is pretty intentive if you allow your child to participate. They are having the concert for this year and the rehersal is almost everyday during sch holiday. -
Thanks for your sharings! mumwgals!

I am also thinking of sending my 3-yo daughter for ballet as she has been asking for it. Any difference between NAFA/SBA and those at private dance schools like Dancepointe, OKH?

Have tried attitude arts? It located at Bukit Timah Shopping Ctr.
They conduct many type of dances, like Ballet, hiphop dance...etc

My daughter is learning pre-ballet at Crestar. She loves it. There is an exam coming up but I am not sure whether to sign her up for it.

My girl is at OKH. She enjoys it but i am looking for a more structure program. Can someone comment more on NAFA please. One mummy that went to NAFA said its too stressful for her girl?

My cousin dropped out Piano from NAFA. It’s too stressful… I think the system and style of teaching is like that… More gearing and drilling at NAFA… nothing against the school but I think the teaching style is more like that of China.

Barbie-doll, Dancepointe (esp Taman Jurong branch) is pretty good. I use to play for them as an accompanist before I moved.
