i am just thinking aloud....
The money generated by COE is huge (1 car is $90,000+) and there is money from ERP too. Why can't these money be used to subsidize and upgrade the public transport? Currently what is the money used for? There is a separate road tax that I think is used to upgrade roads.... -

Half a term left before the next GE, I don't mind giving a chance for an alternative party/ candidate to proof themselves, but I also want to vote for the alternative party which has a higher chance of winning. Just my take. -

Some residents whom I've talked to thinks if they vote opp now, 'they' will no longer get 'it' back, but I don't think so. Elections come every 5 years. They can judge for themselves on each party performance. No need to feel it is \"once logged in, whole life fixed\". -

RP + SDA : 5% SD(std dev) +/- 3%
PAP : 47% SD +/- 2.5%
WP : 47% SD +/- 2.5%
Spoilt votes : 1-2%
PAP & WP will go to d wire, highly possible recount.
PAP was courting d Malay votes earnestly in dis BE - at 11% of total electors in PE is quite substantial. Winning dat ground wld hv a significant impact in final vote count in a close fight.
WP can win only if they can swing a substantial number of d middle ground who voted for MP in last GE to them n RP attracts some of d same away fr PAP while at d same time, not eat into WP's share of votes.
