Top scorer is 284. So next year intake will be very competitive. Quite a number of them scored 25x.

Top 3 classes are NIE. But "I" class is always 1st class.

        Hi Sanie
Thanks for sharing the info. Do you know how many boys scored above 250?
And how did the school fare in Chinese Language (regrettably a subject which they have been lagging behind national average for years 😞 ) Just wondering if the school is doing anything about it...

        Any insights? Thanks again.

          Hi all,

My son has outgrown his fairly new school shorts. I’m giving 3 pairs away. Size 28. Waist measurement (when put flat on the table): 35cm x 2 = 70cm.

Anyone who wishes to have them, please let me know. I can meet up at school side gate when picking my son up after school.

            Hi there,

My DS born in 2009, and I’m keen to send him to St Stephen’s.
But we dont live within <1km, and no church affiliations also.
I guess to increase our chances, I’d have to do PV.
How "early" can I call to register as PV?

            Appreciate any help!

            Thanks!

St Stephen doesn't have any PV programme.

                  Dear all,

Can I ask if there are any parents on this network who has faced severe bullying of kids in st Steven?
Also, any comments on quality of teachers, academic standard (other than Chinese)
                  Are most welcome.
For lower primary heard that they gve loads of homework. Is that true?

Thanks so much! Really appreciate the inputs! Will help to make my p1 choice easier.

                    Hi there,

I'm also looking to register my DS at St Stephen this year. However the current preschool principal advised me to 'carefully' think about it. I'm a little hesitant now. Not sure what to do 😞

Hopefully someone here would respond to your query as I find this forum thread for SSPS is rather inactive.

Oh ok! But do u have anyone that has kids in this school that u can find out from?

Are u within 1 km? For me, I have heard good reviews too abt this school from a friend whose kids went there. She says it all depends
On the kid too. She has 3 boys there. All behave different depending on whether thy inclined on study or mischief.

Also, bullying can happen in any school I am told. Perhaps we as parents need to see if our kid will fall into trouble at this school.

Also I co Ed I am told kids interact only with same gender once they grow older. So it’s the same thing.

Perhaps u can ask in detail to the principal why she thinks so?

taurus75, did you clarify with the preschool principal why she made that remark? I'm also deciding between a few options and St Stephen was my original choice. My concern is more about the distance.
