Basically I consider ME time as not having a fixed schedule, free & easy to do anything I want during those hours.

Mine is in the morning. No need to set alarm, wake up whenever. Then make coffee, throw the clothes into washing machine, sit down to sip my coffee and read kiasuparents & manga while machine is spinning, after that hang the laundry. Sometimes I prep lunch, most days I don’t because kids stayed back in school.

Other than that, I attend exercise classes together with hubby twice a week. Meet my best friend for karoke/movie once a month or once every two months.

Mine is selected weekdays afternoon after one boy leave for school and before the other returns. I tune in to the tv program available or I nap. I never understand why those audiences love Ellen or Dr Oz until I tune into their shows! Their enthusiasm are so infectious!

My ME time not that shiok compared to Harlequin and sleepy 😉

Wake up at 6 together with kids. After they leave for school, flat is all mine. Mornings, surf Net, come to kiasuparents to yak...10am, housework. Prepare simple lunch at 11am. Wash loo and shower.

Actually mornings till 12pm are completely mine to decide what I want to do...but don't have luxury of going anywhere as i have to rush back (mon-thur). Much as I want to window shop, retail operations start at 10am...then have to rush home for daughter...no fun.

I love Fridays :rahrah: ...son has CCA till 6pm and hubby will pick him. I can take a bus to town first...then at 1, parents will pick daughter from school and then join me for lunch. No need to rush to get homework done.

I have my me time between 11am to 12pm (usually read newspapers/go on Kiasuparents/watch drama/leisure lunch) and after 9.30pm on most weekdays (supper with DH).

On weekends, I can have me time after 7pm. I also go for facials/pedicures/manicures/meet friends on Tuesdays when I have lesser lessons.

I am looking forward to having some fun out of the 4 walls...maybe when both kids have CCA next year...and there is no need to rush back for lunch.
              Window shopping is really relaxing.

Talking about hard sell, I just scolded someone who tried to hard sell me some facial package a few days ago. I literally told her to get out of the room (I was having facial at that time).

I also have my me time when I go for holidays. I’m looking forward to early June and late November as I’m taking 2 holidays this year. Usually I go for 1 long and 1 short trip yearly. My students I usually give them one week break in June and 2 weeks break in November so that they enjoy their time off work and I get to go for my trips. Recharge and come back ready to work hard again.

Hub is working from home today…our 14th wedding anniversary but he has back to back conference calls. ME time now is having kiasu parents forum as company…which is perfectly fine with me.
