PV should be ok. since so far no balloting for PV.

"For parents who will be registering their child for 2015 Primary One Intake, (i.e. children born between 2nd January 2008 and 1st January 2009) and are keen to join the Parent Volunteer Programme (PVP) in Anderson Primary School. The application window for 2015 Primary One Intake will open on 2nd Jan 2013 and close on 31st May 2013. The Parent Volunteer Programme (PVP) for 2015 Primary One Intake is now open."

sorry I m very new in this. how does it work?
If one is a PV, that person is in 2B rite? if there is balloting for 2B for pple staying less than 1km frm the school, for PV staying between 1-2km, will this PV be out of e league? or PV just enter regardless of e distance frm hm?

Distance still play a part when it comes to phase 2B. Depending on the demand and supply, there might be balloting in this phase as well if all applicants stay within 1km which is more than the number of seats available. If there is sufficient seats for the applicants less than 1km, remaining seats will be allocated or balloted among the applicants under 1-2km. Please note that \"Active Community Leaders\" and \"Church/Clan\" register under phase 2B as well.

Phase 2B is also by distance. so u have to check the history just in case. But some schools only accept PV < 1km as that range already need to ballot.

Chances should be high. You can check with the school directly.

I’m formerly from Kebun Baru Pri ( so now it had merged with AMK primary) does it mean that my miss piggy(born in 2007) will automatically be enroll to AMK primary?

I’m now staying at AMK st 31, prefers Teck Ghee Primary cos the school website is more detailed & interesting. I’m only much nearer to TGPS.

Which primary school should I enroll my girl?

You will be able to register your child in P2A.

Err...do you select a school based on the attractiveness of the website? 🤷

Anyway, based on 2012's registration statistics, balloting was carried out for PRs staying more than 2 km away. Assuming your child is a SC, she should be safe.

                        Good day, everybody.

Just moved to AMK from Toa Payoh recently and my elder son will attend P1 registration of 2014.
So sad that all ‘best’ schools (Ai Tong, Anderson, Catholic High) are 1km+ away from my house.
Can anyone shared some useful information that how to pick a ‘better’ school among (Tech Ghee, Jing Shan, AMK Primary and May Flower)?

                        Thanks
