Am new here.
My boy will be P1 next year and i'd like to find out :-
(1) is it single session?
(2) any CCA for P1?
(3) who do i check with whether there is school bus service from Katong to Henry Park?
(2) Optional, CCA for P1 in 2013 are:
Gymnastics
Table-Tennis
Art Club
Dance Club
Tennis
Batminton
If you don't mind paying, there are alot more to pick/choose from.
(3) Should be available, u may have to check during orientation next year. -

I’m new to this n need advise on CCA. My girl is P1. Just realized cca ain’t compulsory. I place her in gym. Is it a ok cca? Any advise which is better for direct entry? She don’t mind any CCA so I don’t know which to choose for her.
Why P1 they will choose for school team already? Surprise so early choose to be in school team after 3mth school start for P1? How they choose n select? -
How many times you can change the CCA? Is it once confirmed, it is for 6 yrs?

How’s volunteering for HPPS? Do we need to get interviewed and what’s the success rate like? Thanks.

Every year can change , though not advisable. There are about 30 or so days of CCA in a year. If they keep hoping CCAs then will hardly be able to learn much in that activity. Think well before choosing and try and stick to it. But if the child really dislikes the activity/sport then change.
P1/P2 many children do not take any CCA. It is a good time to experiment. By P3/P4 it would be nice to settle in one CCA.
Preferrence is given to those who are already in that CCA. So if a child was in Gym in P3 . In P4 wants to join Badminton. Then he will be allocated Badminton only after all those who were previously in Badminton and want to continue are alloted the place and if there are still vacancies. So may land up he may not get it if it is a popular CCA. -
is there CCA during school holidays?

Anyone knows the chances of switching school at mid of year to P4 level? Do the school cares for students from non-GEP or HA classes? Do children carry out experiments for science or simply copy the theory answers from teachers?

do all the classroom in Henry Park from P1 to P6 have air-con, or only those in Upper primary P5 / P6 have ?
