      TCM Nose Spa Research Feedback

Am concern with the china medication used by TCM clinic at Havelock Road.
Research formular in website and found out this formula was invented only in 2010 by a Chinese Doc, and now produce by one factory in Wu Han. No data analysis on its test, most importantly medicine is not certified by Singapore Medical bodies.

Parent, please use it sparingly as the formular though natural flowers may contain alcohol may have other side effect that is not known. And the cost charged per treatment is ridiculously high.

Research your own info. via the internet before using on your precious.

        Hi Rainbowmagic,

Ive talked to the owner herself, and it seems she is a very honest woman, my daughter also did not suffer any side effect with the nose spa, in fact it made her feel a lot better…

Has requested Rainbowmagic to send me the links to the research on nose spa, but no response till now…

Anyway, my child had fever last week and I took him to see Dr Tan @ herbal basic. While we were there, I took the opportunity to clarify the nose spa issue with them. At first they were a little “offended” by my enquiry, but after I explained to them about the issue raised by “Rainnbowmagic”, they agreed to clarify the matter, but they requested me to spread the words to the readers of this forum.

So, here I am to share the info:
Nose spa therapy was developed in 2003 by Dr. Tan and partners. Same year they formed Herbal-Basic company in Singapore, and later went into JV with a doctor in China and set up Herbal-Basic Wuhan to manufacture and distribute nose spa device and nose spa herbal liquid in China. They claimed that nose spa products already have 10 years of history in the market, and since then it has treated more than 10,000 patients (mainly in China), with no reported side effects.

To justify their explanation, they showed me the following documents:

1.\tLetter from HSA dated 2003 granting permission for Nose Spa herbal liquid to be manufactured, imported and sold in Singapore.
2.\tClinical Trial report on Nose Spa therapy conducted in Wuhan Hospital in 2003.
3.\tCorporate information on the manufacturer of Nose Spa device and Nose Spa liquid.
4.\tLetter from HSA dated 2010 re-confirming the permission for Nose Spa herbal liquid to be imported and sold in Singapore.
5.\tLaboratory test reports confirming Nose Spa liquid is free of harmful heavy metals, microbial, and alcohol.

Well, I must say that I’m convinced; nevertheless, parents who are still in doubt are advised to approach the clinic directly for further clarification.

Hope the above information is useful to all.

ying-ying thanks for posting that and taking the time to write nicely…

I feel so bad for Dr. Tan too… as I can see and feel the sincerity in her heart to offer these services to children in Singapore… we only have a few honest doctors these days who are true to their healing profession… and I can see that in Dr. Tan… she also did not fail to ensure they are covered legally to be able to defend themselves in unscrupulous comments like this…
