You trust the staff to bring your kids to the pool? Who is responsible when the kid get drown in the pool? Do you blame yourself for putting your kids so near to the 'water' grave?Hi All,
I went to NurtureStars @ Tampines SAFRA recently & it is just located at the ground level all the way into the right. Have talked to the Principal named Jane there and she was really nice and kind.
Environment wise I would say it's pretty peaceful over there as I did not see many people inside the SAFRA during my visit. Overall it's pretty safe for my niece since she stays in the East anyways.
What I like about the place is that it is inside the SAFRA and their cirriculum includes some water activities conveniently held within the swimming pool of SAFRA. What attracts us is the routine that they offer for the kids, pretty fulfilling & healthy. -
The thing is, this swimming lesson is an optional activity. So, I guess for your case you definitely won't go for it since you find that kids learning swimming at such a tender age is worrying for ya & might endanger their lives.
But I believe my sister would also want to see her daughter learn how to swim when she turn about 6? Ultimately I guess the kids probably just play water only. If they succeed its a bonus lor. Otherwise, I think this is a healthy activity for them. And I trust the coach & teachers will keep a watchful eye on their every movement.

I have been to Nurturestars TPY twice for a visit. I also emailed them once and called them twice for more enquiries and was attended to.
I spoke to Yoyo and also Jen, the current Principal there.
I am rather impressed with the bright and clean environment and also the meals. They have a healthy selection of food. The normal naptime is 1-3 pm and I was told that the children will only be shown TV after 6 pm (while waiting for parents to pick up).
I haven’t really looked at the detailed curriculum yet but I think Kinderland is an established center. I am not too worried.
We can use the CDA account for the monthly school fees as well.
Overall, I have positive feelings about this school. -
Hear my colleague relative have put her son (18 mth old) to PG at TPY. But the end, she withdrawal her son after 1 mth later. Not so sure why. But my colleague said her relative very disappointer to the center.

Any feedback of the tpy Nurture Stars?
sending my son over in June. -
I have tried sending my kid to NurtureStar at Toa Payoh…really disappointed with the new Principal Joyce as compare to Jen. Why? I saw a new kid at PN1 crying and running out of the class but none of the teacher attend to him and I have to run to comfort the little boy.
I don’t know what’s the teacher n the new Principal are doing…I saw a lot of young teacher there and don’t really take care of the kids…disappointed.
BTW, Jen the ex principal has left the school. -
