I definitely not his fan
We bou a Complete Works of Shakespeare at Borders donkey years ago @ $50 only. My elder boy would read it as part of his bedtime story. I find him weird
I know! It puts him to sleep faster than anything else could.
If he reads this, he would be so offended :rotflmao:
:offtopic: he always has to read before going to sleep, says reading helps to wind down his mind.
He got a Bible as a birthday present. Read from page 1 to the last page. I was like :? -
Hmmm..let me try to understand. Christian Values is a subject that he takes in school? err... or a module taken in his Sunday School/Youth group? Good that he is interested in the bible knowledge, the next thing is to be able to apply in his daily life.

If your son likes Shakespeare, there is a Chinese website where you can watch videos of BBC productions of the plays. The good thing about videos is that you can fast forward the boring bits! The only snag is that the titles are all in Chinese. If you want, I can look for the link. -

That's not opera not a musical either. That is a play. Unless you are into Shakespeare, yup high chance of falling asleep.Funz:

Not in English?
There is a Shakespeare in the Park Othello he is interested in. I am afraid I might fall asleep while watching :rotflmao: Told him to find some classmates to go with him, but he's unwilling

Believe it or not. Shakespeare was part of my bedtime story when I was like 7 or 8 yrs old. Not the original version, but my dad got me the illustrated version or Romeo & Juliet, Merchant of Venice, Midsummer Night's Dream, King Lear, Macbeth, Julius Caesar, Hamlet and Taming of The Shrew. That got me started on Shakespeare's works.
Me too, I love to read those when I was in primary school!
DD recently asked me to get her Romeo & Juliet..., looks like it's time for me to pass her the simple version of some of the above works.
