Hi I'm new in singapore. We only can register our child in Phase 3. Our first choice is RGPS. But since we are living in Kim Keat, nearest schools are Bendemeer, Pei Chun Public and First Toa Payoh.


Any advice which I should choose?
Definitely Pei Chun, but do we still have any chance at this Phase 3?
Does anyone knows about First Toa Payoh Primary? Is this school okay?

I want to know about First Toa Payoh Primary too.., does anyone have kid school there ? Please share..

Entry/transfer to Primary schools after P1 depends more on the child's ability to convince the school to give him/her entry than distance from the school. You will need to somehow demonstrate that your child is and will be a good student.

You can opt to be on the waiting list for some schools. However, if I remember correctly, the same criteria (as in primary 1 registration) still applies. So those with siblings in the same school will get a high priority over the rest. And distance from school still applies for those in waiting list.[/quote]Thx for the information.
