      crayonmum:
Yup, can get all from Shanghai Uniform. I think the boys need to wear the sch singlet everyday under their white shirt from Monday to Thursday. Ties are worn on Monday for Assembly. On Fridays, the boys wear a separate polo tee. House Tees are only worn during Sports Day and Cross Country. I hope my info is correct.

Thanks for sharing! Very helpful info. Is it me or.. isn’t it too hot to don singlet inside on top of uniform? Can wear just any singlet?

Hi MyPillow, thanks for sharing and you are spot on on longer time for classes. Coincidentally, i was counting the number of hours spent per subject btw the 2 schools. Indeed MS spends more time on some subjects.

Im incline towards choosing MS but i do not want to force this across to ds too. Headache.. 😓

Thanks winniel once again and thumbs up for the good determination!

On dismissal time, I did see the MS Sec 1 time table for 2018 awhile ago. What struck me was I notice 3 out of 5 school days end late (430pm to 530pm). In part was due to additional lessons (e.g. calligraphy etc) and CCA.

Still deciding if I should sent ds to MS or Edgefield which is nearby.

      Hi longshoredrift

Am considering to send my ds to MSHS and would like to ask u the following below:

      1. Are there quite many new students mainly from its affiliation school? Do students from non-affiliated schools find it hard to mix and blend in?
      2. Does sports CCA (e.g. athletics or Taekwondo, Bowling) require selection to join?
      3. How fast pace are classes being taught? I have heard of the “you are expected to know” kinda culture for some good schools and curriculums may not be that well taught thoroughly.
      4. Are students expected to reach at 730am or 8am? (as I saw the time table starts somewhere around 8am)

Look to advice on above and thanks for your time!

not sure if this can be stated as a similarity here or be of help…

my boy is being cared for by my wife’s aunty whom he obviously has taken a liking to after almost 3 yrs…

realise whenever he is at home with us he is ok and does not kick up a fuss e.g. when we do not give him a sweet/or whatever he wants

however once in my wife’s aunty presence… he will always take advantage of her presence and kick up a big fuss (jumps n cries)

maybe is there any form of similarity of point of refernce u can pick up from?
