You need one subject from \"2nd Group of Relevant Subjects\", i.e. 2 relevant subjects : 1 from 1st group (i.e. amath/emath) and 1 from the 2nd group (comb. humans)

oh okay thanks. :yikes: :lightrod:

Your school will give a briefing on the various path after O level exam. You can double confirm with your teacher on the question you have.

Try to work harder for your comb. humans. As for accounting course in poly, don't restrict yourself to Ngee Ann Poly, unless you are staying near NP.

Jia You !
Let say I choose A Maths as 1st relevant subject... then under the Best 2 subjects, can I select E Maths as one of the best subject since I did not select it as 1st relevant subject?

Thanks.

• RE: All About Market Rates of Private Tutors

crazyvt:
My son had a tutor who specializes in Sec 3 and 4 Additional and E Maths. She is super good! My son had failed his Sec 3 A maths but after engaging her, he is able to score A2 for A maths and A1 for E Maths in his prelims! Now praying that he could score an A1 for both A and E maths for his O levels!!!

Her rates are reasonable too, only $35 per hour. If i am remember correctly, she has A1 in both A and E maths for her O level as well as an A in her A levels Maths!
Can you PM me the tutor contact number? Currently looking for tutor for A maths and E maths. Thanks.

Hi

Alternatively, you can get the ear ring clasps (with a spring) which is much more easy to use and you can buy from any accessories shops.

By the way, how are your kids coping in CCHY?
Quite busy with his CCA... 😄 .

Next, CCA:

My son got into Festive Drums. How about your child?
I will respect his choice and hopefully he is happy.
Festive Drums is 2 times weekly.
I think the time committed is quite balanced out with studying time which is the priority nonetheless. OK lor 🙂
Trust your child get into the CCA he/she like?
1st category choice is actually performing art... but the school put him in NPCC... I was also in NPCC during my secondary school days.

The buttons are not cheap for CCH Yishun... 1 packet is $9 for 14 buttons with rings.

But can keep forever, right? My son not in CCH. He's in CHS secondary, and with 2 boys in primary for the past many years, we've many buttons. The buttons last. For the rings, you can just buy them from any stationary shop - many in a packet, if you need replacements. Another way that some parents do is to sew the buttons on. OR...sew the button onto a normal-sized shirt button and slip it into the button hole so you don't have to use the rings. HTH!

Good idea... thanks.
