    • RE: Application for NUS/NTU Medicine 2021/2022

Thanks Desmond Tang for your sharing. Guess it will be a long wait these coming 2 months, probably filled with anxiety and uncertainty. Well, come what may, life still goes on. If the WL is converted to a CO, it will be a joyous occasion. If it does not materialize, similarly, life still goes on and both parents and children must move on.

    • RE: Application for NUS/NTU Medicine 2021/2022

Just wondering if this means that whether one put medicine as first choice, only choice, 2nd, 3rd or even 4th choice does not matter (unlike secondary and JC selection where ranking of choice matters)? Logically, if one puts a course as a first choice, the person would be more keen to pursue it compared to his second choice. If a candidate is selected even though he might have put medicine as his second or third choice, then where do those who put medicine as their first and perhaps only choice stand, assuming that all were called up for interviews? Do candidates who put medicine as 2nd choice rank higher than those who are on the waiting list although the waiting list outcome is released before the 2nd choice outcome? Don’t hope to offend anyone but just wondering how the system works.

Congrats to all who have gotten med school offers from NTU and NUS. Since the NUS offers are out, the NTU waitlist should be moving soon Wondering what is the success rate for NTU and NUS waiting lists applicants?

Wondering if any rejection has been sent out/ reflected in the portal, assuming that medicine was the only choice?

Seems like NTU did not indicate their schedule for shortlist, interviews etc in their website. Keeping anxious parents in suspense haha

Oh ya, he does not take A Levels and their application closed earlier, probably that’s why he was notified earlier too. Sorry for causing unnecessary cause of concern if any.

No worries, those whom I heard being called up took A levels and got 90 points, thus I was curious. The NTU and NUS applications close tomorrow, probably more would be called up after that then.

Heard that so far, those who have been called for interviews are the 90 pointers, is it the case?
