Hi MTDT, Thanks for the reply. Yes, the boys were training when we went for the orientation and I spoke to one of the fathers there. My son is excited about joining.

RE: St Joseph's Institution Junior
fable:
Yes, I think it has changed. I believe the reason given at Orientation was so that the P1s and 2s would not have to stay back in school and have longer days. Perhaps its because SJIJ is at a holding school at the moment?
My son will be so disappointed. He was really looking forward to the soccer programme in School. If it is optional, I do not really see the argument about staying back in school; the kids are there voluntarily! -

Hi Bukitteresa and Jsmm, thanks for the well wishes. Bukitteresa, do you need to ballot as well? Wish you the best of luck. Will you be going down for the balloting on Wednesday? It is at 9 am at the Ava room on the third floor

RE: Pat's Schoolhouse
Hi, I am thinking of enrolling my 3 1/2 year old son at the Meyer Road Branch of Pat’s Schoolhouse. I visted the branch last week on a weekday morning with my wife and we left with a good impression. The children look confident and happy. I will be going again to visit the school with my son. I am hoping that Pat’s (Meyer) will be able to sufficiently prepare my son for primary school without additional enrcihment classes and that the theachers are caring and encouraging. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Meyer Road Branch and the teachers and Principal. I will be grateful for all replies. The other school I have on my mind is Chiltern
