Has anyone rented a car from Apex in GC before? Any reviews? How can I apply Australia Visa for family of 4? How much does the visa application cost? Thanks!

Hihi,

I book Apex but in Brisbane, just go online and book with them. Keep a lookout for their promo, take those with 0 access, just in case (*touch wood*) you no need to pay anything. They will need your credit card upon collection of your car for any charges of toll fees to be charge directly to your card. I got my bill 3 weeks later after I return from my trip.

I use kangaroo kang to do my visa, fast & cheap.

Hope this help šŸ™‚

Hi Beancurd

Thank you very much for the info. May I know how much does kangaroo kang charge for visa and how to contact her? šŸ˜„
Hi,

No worries. šŸ˜„

For visa you just drop her an email to: kangaroos_kang@yahoo.com.sg

She will need the pic of your passport, add, contact and after she has process you can try go to the aussie immigration website to check if it has approve. Fast & cheap šŸ˜‰

Hi Beancurd,

I went there at October 2012 with my 18 months boy, the weather are just nice about 15-20 degrees. I think March should be cold.

I like Nami island and my boys enjoyed as well.
Would like to remind you to prepare some food for your toddler because it is difficult to find suitable food for kid. Most of the food are either spicy or with pepper.

Don't think everland suitable for toddler but you can explore more.

For your reference if you can read Chinese

Thanks daddyceg! I saw the safari at Everland so I thought of bring him to see the 'close up' animals šŸ˜„

Anyone been there in March? Anyone travel with a 15 months old toddler to Seoul, any tips to share? I have book my flight via SQ during their promo for $700! Excited and looking forward! :rahrah:

How's the weather during March, is Nami island worth going? Planing to bring my little one to Everland, Safari!

I have not been in march but the weather should still be quite cool, do dress warmly esp your toddler. There are hardly any lifts in the subway so I don't recommend u to bring any strollers unless u don't mind carrying it up & down. Theres a lot of walking involved so a good baby carrier will be very handy. I would recommend Lotteworld as they have an indoor park which is good if the weather prove to be too cold for u & family. There are also more kiddy rides & a pororo park which is more ideal for your toddler.

Thanks mummychia! šŸ™‚

Back from Aussie! Went during school holiday, I miss Aussie I miss the cooling weather. Oh ya, I travel with my little baby who is 9mos old, thank god he didn't really fuss during the 8hr flight! Haha...

Qantas is good! I was so worry about their service but they surprise me! They took care of me, seeing I am carrying my little one and unable to eat they offer to warm up food for me if I 'm hungry. :rahrah: The only issue is their bassinet which is so high, even my hub has problem putting him in. So on the flight back I never use the bassinet at all. Their baby food is also quite a huge pack and they warm up for me to feed my boy.

By the way I feel that Warringa apartment is not really that great, when I feedback in TA the manager reply and say if I want a good one I should opt for a 'upgrade'. Well I find that she sounds abit sarcastic la, anyway is over. Regret not choosing wyndham :stupid:

We rent a car from Brisbane from this company AP** and everything went well, car was good and service is good.

Our trip we went:
dragonfly cafe (brisbane)
carrara market
wet and wild (ticket with 3 world)
robina town shopping
currumbin wildlife (groupon have discount)
honey world
oasia shopping (waste of time)
fisherman wharf restaurant (worth going)
seaworld
harbour town shopping
duck tour
hanazono teppanyaki (worth going)
cavill avenue
movie world
pacific fair shopping

Hi,

Anyone rented a car from Brisbane airport? Other than Hertz and Avis is there any other reliable car company that I can rent from?

We rented a large MPV when we went last Nov/Dec. It's not a large chain like Hertz, Avis, etc. but same thing they delivered the car at the airport, and return the car here - just leave the key inside before you lock the door.

A distant relative we visited, commented the rate was very good compared to what he was paying for when he goes to Melbourne a few weeks after that...

Thanks! I rental mine from Apex already šŸ™‚

I book Qantas for 2A 1C n 1B for $2200 SGD in march and saw SQ promo in June for the whole family is only $2000 :slapshead:

I hope Qantas service is okay :xedfingers:

I took Qantas last June holidays. so far so good
Lower your expectations on movie channels, quite limited
But my kids love the variety of Simpsons cartoons and American dad cartoons on board .

I like the food cos we got to eat quite a lot of meals for the 7hrs flight. Ice cream, pizza, muffins, chips etc - they seem to be quite generous on food during my last flight. Rather tasty n big portions šŸ™‚

Thanks! I am flying this Thursday and looking forward!! šŸ˜„
