Looking back, the Poiz Residences above Potong Pasir MRT would have been a good buy. Too bad I missed that.
I think developers are hoping that Singaporeans will Chiong for all these mixed developments integrated with MRT. That has been the trend in recent years. Convenient mah.
RE: Mother of schizophrenic son who feels wronged by the system pens angry open letter chastising PM Lee
whatever it is , be it rant or bad narrated letter , the fact is she almost lost her son and her son is schizophrenic . She might be at a very miserable state when she wrote the letter. Not nice to comments like ‘it’s a rant , you hero can still read the letter in full, etc…’ . This is a situation of a parent whose son has a mental issue and he wanted to kill himself . Have some empathy.

RE: All About T-Score
phtthp:
it depends, on how parents want their child to practise past year papers.Zappy:
Maybe I should just print some test papers to let her try and also I could gauge.
Ya I know it's available on internet. But printing also cost $ and more ma fan. We usually just get the set at beginning of year n print extra if needed from earlier years.
a)
if parent want child to practise, by recent years, regardless of which primary school's standard it is, then parents may buy the set for 201x, from (push-cart in housing estate, or from Bras Basah complex, a lot).
example
for subjects like Higher Chinese (HCL) -
usually parents prefer to buy one full set from push-cart, because inside contain a lot of Assorted primary schools' HCL practice papers, just for One past year, alone.
It is much better to practise HCL this way, by doing several, different assorted schools' HCL paper.
b)
However, if a parent prefer the child to practise, say, from (by) a specific primary school standard only , say for past 5 years : (2017, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, etc), not just any (Tom / Dick / Harry) schools' standard, then they will prefer to download free of charge, from internet for that specific school, by each individual past year.
example
Suppose I only want to practise ( Nanyang / ACS / SCGS / Hokkien Huay Kwan, eg Kong Hwa ) Standard papers only, then I will much prefer to download free of charge, from internet.
Reason ( why ) ?
Those Standard papers sold at Bras Basah (or push-cart) :-
often published only by past years, but not by the individual primary school itself.
Can I know what do you mean by ‘Tom Dick Harry’ school? -

RE: Anglo Chinese Family of Schools
At 4pm ACS Pri 29 SC within 1km. Still have 3 seats. Junior is hotter than Primary this year!

RE: Anglo Chinese Family of Schools
Tks for the correction . I checked with the sch within 1km 26 SC plus 2PR. 1-2km 1PR. >2km 5SC.

RE: Anglo Chinese Family of Schools
Surprising ACS Primary take up is slow this year. 26 within 1km includes 2PR. Strongly encourage Singaporean > 2km go and apply! Don’t waste the quota.

RE: Anglo Chinese Family of Schools
Impossible. ACS Primary is always the first choice second Junior. Those stay in less than 1km will fall in tomorrow .
