I think no pre-booking is required for travelling from Incheon to Alpensia, but need to pre-book if travelling from Alpensia to Incheon.
got it from this site:

btw, you mentioned the 3rd infiltration tunnel is quite tiring... cos it's rather steep.
does one literally need to crawl in the tunnel? roughly how long is the time spent in the tunnel?
i'm neither \"elderly\" nor \"young children\" but i got no stamina leh..
and very scared of steep slope... :faint: -

Hi Jetsetter,
Thank you for the sharing.
Just wanna check, did you book your tour from DMZ Korea Tours? Is this the one?
D-2 Combined Tour [DMZ+Panmunjeom(JSA) TOUR]
They request 100% payment on reservation and there is no refund, and also requested a copy of our passports. As there are six of us, it will mean paying online $1K+ without knowing for sure the tour is on or may be cancelled. I just want to make sure it is safe to book thru' this tour agency, and any concern with scanning and sending a copy of our passports?
below extracted from their website:
* Full payment should be made in advance.
* Panmunjeom tour should be needed the 100% payment of fare.
* Your reservation will be completed after checking your payment for
Panmunjeom tour and there is no refund.
– Please send us the copy of your passport via our E-mail.
E-mail : dmzkoreatour@gmail.com
* The approval cannot be done if you don’t send us a copy of your passport.
Scanned file or Photographed file – All of letters and photo should be clear. -

Hi,casamia:
Hi,
we are a group of six travelling to Alpensia & Seoul in Dec.
Appreciate any recommendation & advice:
1. should we arrange private transport from Alpensia to Seoul instead of taking the shuttle bus? Since we have six pax, I'm thinking of arranging private transport to cover a few places (e.g. Daegwallyeong Samyang Ranch, Mt Seoraksan) on the way back to Seoul. Any recommendation on tour/transport agency? or any contact to share?
2. any recommendation on the DMZ tour? which package is better? half day or full day?
Appreciate any advice.
Thanks!
When will you be in Seoul? I tried booking private transfer to Alpensia and it's quite difficult cos now is the peak season and many buses have been fully booked. So, if you do plan on private bus, better hurry grab!
we are heading directly to Alpensia from the airport, spend a few days in Alpensia before heading to SEoul. do you have any contact for transport?
