For the SAP schools, you can get up to three \"bonus\" points if you include HCL. In other words, even though NYGH's COP is 261, you only need 258(+3) to meet the entry criteria. So to compare like to like with non-SAP schools, the normalised COP for NYGH should be 258.

I beg to differ. By claiming that the \"normalized\" COP for NYGH should be 258, you are saying that by default, every student who scores 258 will be able to enter NYGH, which is untrue as the student must first have attained Distinction for HCL if she has a score of 258 as she needs (+3) to be able to enter NYGH.
What about if a student scored 259(+1)? She will not be able to enter NYGH...

My friend dd scored 259+2 and did not get in her first choice - nygh. Now she is planning to appeal...

On normal sch days, the girls must wear hongzi (full uni). They will still need to change out of their PE tees after PE lessons. On special occasions eg. Cross Country the girls are allowed to wear their level tees, etc...

According to dd’s friend Gongshang Pri Sch highest T score is 266 (w/o HMT)

every school knows the 3rd lang schedule

most schools will not have CCA on 3rd lang days, so no clash at all

Thanks for replying! Dd noticed the clashes in schedule when she poured thru the letters & CCA booklet that were given during the registration day. The clashes have to appear in some of the CCAs that she is very keen on.
Poor gal didn't want to waste $$ buying French books & having to give up later cos of CCA!
