Thx phtthp for your reply. My response will be: do we have to go to such extents to have the teacher be aware that he/she has a failing kid that needs help? Isn’t this quiet quitting to a large degree already? I remember having teachers who care more during my time, just that they were not using technologically advanced tools to teach. Did i trade off care and concern from teachers with technology by choosing SST? How sad…

      Nothing much more to add.

Report cards late, end of term still don’t have, just a slip of paper, says change reporting system.
CCA report? Afterthought, I have to personally chase to figure out what needs to be done, else nobody knows.
Subjects failed, not a phone call nor a word of concern from any teacher, as if it is business as usual in Sec 1 and 2. Suddenly, end of Sec 3, now tell me my kid is in danger to clearing O levels. Nobody from the school saw it coming last few years and reached out to us to take proactive action? As a parent, what does failing in a gd school mean? Ok, not ok? Am I supposed to know by myself when I don’t get any calls from any teacher? Only get diplomatic replies all these years during PTM until now. I personally feel they have many quiet quitting staff.

For those whose kids are driven, self-starters, and high-flyers, good for you. But for those whose kids are behind the pack like mine, I’m really disillusioned by the school after 3yrs. I feel they don’t quite care about those who fall through the cracks. And mysteriously, basic school updates that we take for granted will happen, they will struggle even and we parents have to go out of our way to proactively get answers.

Over these 3 years, I really wonder what kind of a "good" school this is, or did it deteriorate from their initial good reputation to a terrible current state that no teacher dare to raise and address the elephant in the room.
If you are hoping to see caring teachers to help those who are behind to catch up like what I’ve experienced during my school time, you can give up to SST, because all I’ve experienced these 3 years are clouded, diplomatic responses from civil servants who dare not tell the truth. Oftentimes, I feel that I receive negligible support from the school and we are all alone struggling by ourselves…

    • RE: Old folks homes

      Hi There,

Do you know of any websites/forums that gives reviews of Nursing Homes? Need to pick one to help my mum recover from her fractured leg (she’s in hospital now) until it is load-bearing. She’s greatly overweight and needs 2 persons to help her change adult diapers. I’m also hoping to find one that can help manage her diet so that she can slim down, plus one that can give her physical therapy so her leg can recover in strength faster.

      Thanks in advance!

I cannot imagine got 1/3 of all students scoring 261 and above…

      Hi All,

I wish to enquire about the Edusave Scholarship. Is it indicated in the PSLE results letter?
