Hi guys. SST has not given out any info on SIE on their website yet. It’s already the 5th of November and all they have written on the SIE 2019 page of their site is “More information about the Supplementary Intake Excersise will be released soon” and this was posted way back in September.
Does this mean there won’t be sie for SST this year? -
Don’t you have to wait for PSLE results to be released first?
Upon release, then those WL will be converted (or not) into a confirmed seat. And then whatever remainder will be released via SIE.
So the School can’t possibly know right now, how many remaining seats are available for SIE. -

25 October (Friday) 3pm, was the dateline to exercise DSA option.
today, more than 1 week had passed.
not sure how many Wait-lists are issued, this year (2019)
But,
in the event if the Total number of Wait-lists > (exceeded) or = (equal to) Total number of COs given up,
then, there won't be any SIE (Supplementary intake) this year.
All those inside the Wait-lists : are ranked internally, even if their Wait-list were to be converted into a CO.
If someone has given up a CO, the #1 (Wait-list) ranked ahead will get converted first, before #2 (Wait-list), so on and so forth, down the Wait-list, one by one
only on 21 Nov itself (PSLE released date, tentative), then they will know if their Wait-list was converted into CO, or not
much closer (nearer) towards the date 21 Nov,
SST will announce (confirm) on website whether or not still got SIE this year.
Today is 5 Nov, 21 Nov is ... 2 weeks, from today
my suggestion is, in the event this year happen no SIE,
can start flipping through that booklet titled, \"Choosing 2020 Secondary schools\", issued by your P6 class Form Teacher last week, can start to consider which are the 6 Secondary schools u have in mind to short-list, for S1 posting by MOE centralized computer database. By now, u ought to have some inkling or a rough idea, how yourself have fared (performed) in 2019 PSLE, per subject (English, Maths, Science, Mother-tongue, Higher Mother-tongue). -

But why haven't they confirmed it on their website? It says \"More Information about the Supplementary Intake Exercise will be released soon\". If my memory is correct, they released that on 21st or 22nd oct
