My son scored 252 +3,he has been offered all the 3 categories of third language choices as well as HMTL. His friends who scored below 250 have been offered categories 1 and 2 third language choices.

For top 10%, has to be those students who are offered all 3 categories of 3rd language. I'm interested to know too ...

Maybe someone can say if 240+ have that letter (cfrm all 3 categories).

i got 270 and was offered all 3 categories

For those who are comtemplating btwn NYGH vs RGS, or HCI vs RI, pls keep a few things in mind: 1.distance (you dont want to choose a schl too far away) 2. siblings (but this only applies to some cases) 3. culture/environment (chinese - based vs chinese - based) 4. CCAs (its best to choose a school that offers a CCA that is suitable for your child) 5. the JCs (RJC vs HJC) 6. if your child can cope (one psle top scorer was a mainstreamer and achieved gd results so he went to RI, but as he cannot cope with the fast paced curriculum there, he dropped out after 10 mths) thats all for now. in terms of academics, the schls are all roughly the same, but there are always other impt factors

My sister got A* for Science and the rest all As, 242. Very happy for her šŸ™‚ She's in the third class, after her school's (MGS) own gifted program class and the top class. The average score of her class is around 240++. If this year's PSLE was harder, I think there'd be more 250s.

      She's going back to MGS.
Hmm...I didnt know MGS had GEP. Anyway, how did you do šŸ™‚

There are alot of \"Black Horses\" this year...but thats the unpredictable nature of PSLE, you either make or break, no in btwn, to all those who did not achieve their dream marks, its ok, one figure does not determine your intelligence, it only determines how much you can improve šŸ™‚ everyone can improve according to their abilties šŸ™‚

I am a student of NYPS and I got 270. The highest in NYPS is not 272, but 276. And the cut-off pt is 263 for NYGH
