DS has completed Sec 2 and has a size M dust coat to let go @ $10. No tear and no stain. Only has black marker written on the inside of the dust coat (so that DS did not mix his up with his friends).

      Interested pls pm me.

    • RE: Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road)

DS will be in Sec 2 next year so I am selling his apron and cap. The set comes with the 2 pcs of tablecloths and a plastic box (can’t recall if it is lock and lock). The set costs $15. The kids only use it for 1 year in Sec 1 and my ds’ set is still in good condition. So it is a waste to throw it away.

Anyone keen to buy over at a cheaper price, please pm me.

At the same time, I also looking to buy over this year’s Sec 2 dust coat for my son. If anyone who wants to sell, please pm me.

      Thank you.

Anyone went to the Taiwan Tourism in Chevron House and collected the Easy Card? Any idea if there is any value in the Easy Card?

Or those who redeemed the bus ticket from Taoyuan Int’l Airport to Taipei, can this ticket be used for the other direction, ie Taipei to Taoyuan Int’l Airport?

Did you go up the mountain ? how much is the rental for the skiing? we need to rent shoes etc right for skiing, how abt kids?

The staff in alpensia speaks english? i read comments they r not good in english ?
No, I didn't go up to the mountain as I didn't have enough time. Was there only for 1N. Yes, the staff in the resort (hotel and ski) can speak English. There is no issue with communication at all so no worries.

I have taken pic of the wear, ski and board rental cost. I will try to upload here. Otherwise, u can give me ur email addr I send u e pic cos my pic are more than e allowed size here.

I read that there are different wifi coverage for different cities, and I only need for Alpensia. Can I get one in town (Seoul) for my trip to Alpensia? I don't wanna get at airport cos I have 1 week in Seoul before going up to Alpensia.

Are u planning to grt e wifi egg for Alpensia? I am currently in Alpensis staying in Holiday Inn Suites. They provide free wifi if u join its mbrship on e spot and ig is free. The wifi is strong in the whole resort.

Thanks for this info !! going there in less than 2 weeks. is it cold cold cold ? share more !
It was cold yesterday night. But this morning it turned warm. No snow at all, expected but was disappointed. We did an hr of skiing though on e man made ice.

I wore only long john, Uniqlo turtle neck heat tech shirt and a down jacket which I bought here from a shop called Top Ten. So far so gd, was kept warm most of the time.
Hi all,

Am heading to korea for 2nd time this december but the last time was in Nov so am anticipating freezing ourselves there this time.

Was wondering if its a safe idea to get there to buy the kids boots instead of buying off taobao or qoo10 instead. Kids are 6 & 7 yrs old so is it easy to find their shoes? Am wondering if I will end up running ard seoul to hunt for their boots instead.

am staying at hongdae when we arrive. I assume normal sports shoes will last them for a while until we find new ones? Appreciate kind advice on where is the best place to find cheap ones.

      Thanks.

Or try Ewhua Women University which is near to u. There are many shoes stalls.

oh i thot ehwa will sell mostly women's stuff. i been there once briefly... didn't remember that much about that place... thanks!
Oh, if u r getting kids' stuff then I saw lots in Namdaemun. Ewha, as u said, r mainly for women.
