Hi LittlePrinz! We are in the same situation like u. Gg to withdraw RV n apply ALPS! Have u apply today or gg to do it on Friday? How do you know the numbers? Through MOE site or they put up a board? Are u staying within 1km? We are so hopefully dun need to ballot! Finger crossed! Go luck to us!

Is there any parent staying at Boon Tiong Road? Can i know how long does it take to send your kid/s to school by car? What time must we leave our house to aviod late? For those who send their kids by bus, how do you do it? Any direct bus there? Lastly, for those who use school bus what time must we go down to wait for the bus in the morning. And ard what time the bus will reach Boon Tiong area in the afternoon? The fee?

Today we went to take a look at the school and ask the staff some questions. She is really friendly and helpful. BTW, she told us that there are quite a number of Eurasians study there. Really? I think this year P1 Registration, many will register ALPS. Ha alot of competition among parents. Jn a few years time, many will need to do PV.

Thank for the advice! I think we should be okay since we stay within 1km of the school. Will keep monitor till the last day before we cancel our slot at RV.


May i ask usually how long will it takes for you to drive in ALPS and drop of your kid?

Hi all parents! My wife was a former student of River Valley Primary so we managed to get a slot for my son next year. Currently, we are thinking of cancelling the slot and opt for Alexandra Primary instead. Our reasons are (1) very inconvenience for us to send and pick up our kid due to the location of RV. (2) is RV really that good or pple just send their kids there because of the name? anyone can share info? (3) though Alexandra is a new school but from what our friends told us and what we read from the forums many are positive feedbacks (4) from what we know the Principal and teachers at Alexandra Primary are experience and good! Are we correct?


We are in a dilemma situation! Any parents like us? Kindly share your experience n tips pls. Thank alot

Hi everyone, im new here. Next year my son starts P1, he has already secured a place in River Valley Primary School due to his mum is a former student. Currently, we are discussing whether to let him study at Zhangde Primary as it is walkable distance from our house (less than 10 mins). Everyone know these two schools well? We are driving him to school so we would like to know how is the traffic there in the morning? There is no place to place our car so we just park outside the school? Can anyone suggest which school is better? If given a choice, which school will you enroll your kid and why?
