My DD gets 247+2 (HMT chinese) in PSLE. She wishes to go Nan Hua High :roll: but Bukit Panjang High is near to our home (CCK). Pls gives me advice on which school to choose.

My DD has exactly the same score as yours... this is year 2019, I wonder if this consideration between these 2 schools are still the same... we also stay in CCK but my dd has many friends dd would have any friends at NH...

thinking of starting my girl on berries. She is K2 next year.

will likely be at Alexandra. the good thing is that as this center is new, most of the classmates should be non-berries student in the past few years. was concerned that she will feel lousy if the class were full of berries students… her chinese isn’t that good.

the fees for K2 have been adjusted to $460 / term… is this correct? are such fees considered "reasonable"?

We are shifting to CCK end of the year. My gal is currently in Ascensions pre-nursery. She simply loves her school! however, I understand the school bus do not go that far to CCK.

If there are kind souls who can fetching your children to Ascension from CCK area, pls consider helping to ferry my gal too. I can help to subsidise the petrol etc.

we are still hanging to a slim hope that we can find/create transport for my gal. She is relucant to try new school. We even rejected a place at one of the more popular kindergarden in upper bukit timah.

Move house consider a serious decision & right now believe that Clementi, West Coast are expensive ever since the development of Fusion No Polis, Bio Polis etc etc.


It would be wise to look around school near to your area. Anyway hope you can come to a good decision.

to add to it, now you have the Vision of high price there, no need the Polis .... but don't need to be exactly next to Nan Hua la....Jurong East also can since it is not depending on distance to get in

update - I have officially bought a place at CCK. so this is phrase 1 of the plan to get into NH. I have joined the Alumni to qualify for Phrase 2A1.

Found out that school buses go to CCK. anyway, it looks likely my wife who is SAHM will be doing the ferrying.

Found out that NH is a top school in SG so cannot bear to let the chance slip away for my kids....

Don't worry yourself so much. So far there had been no balloting required for phase 2A in any of the schools. So it's pretty much confirmed that your child will get a place in NH.

Thanks for the assurance. We will intentionally shift all the way from Seng Kang to study in NH.

I studied the registration history for phrase 2A. The APP is less 50% for 2006 -2009.

If APP is not >100%, does it mean everyone in this phrase will get a place?
