Hi I m considering to put my boy in this school. As there is not much info on the map thread, would appreciate it greatly if current parents can provide some feedback or review on the school such as the teacher quality n how well the school prepares their students for psle. Thank you.

    • RE: Recommendation of Good Support Mattress for Adults

Hi there, has anyone heard of getha. It’s a 100% latex mattress. I did a search n realised it’s a Malaysian brand. Read that latex is all natural n hence is anti dustmite without other chemicals. Anyone can advise how this will compare against simmons and sealy? Tks much!

I also like that there isn't the stress of an impending decision looming over us.

Yes can visit e schools, talk to e people n decide if e culture etc is suited for our children. No time pressure to make decision immediately.

Some children are motivated after visiting the open house, wanting to put in the extra effort to get into the school.

Yes understand what you mean. This is my main aim too. I checked the MGS thread and they probably hv an open house in Oct. Not sure how stringent e requirements wld be just to garner an interview under DSA. Wld it require winning individual competitions etc? Or very gd results, prefectorial duties, CCA performing arts achievements wld generally be sufficient as a start?

How do you get the local data plan. How much does it cost compared with SingTel’s S$15 per day unlimited data?

Thanks both for the quick reply. Pirated, I emailed Hertz and the customer service told me about the minimum 6 days requirement. When I tried the website, keyed in collection at darling harbour and return at William St, the search told me no cars are available. Perhaps if either pickup point or drop off is the airport, there would not be a problem.

I was wondering if just using my own phone Google maps will be good enough. Seems like it is. I also did another search on Avis website and I can reserve car seat and GPS. Decided I will go for the Avis car rental which is walking distance from my first accommodation. Appreciate all the tips!
