My Child is graduating this year


I think HWS is super underrated. My child developed so much both academically and in terms of sports. School culture and support have been amazing.

Most Teachers work over time just to ensure that the kids are all well taken care of in terms of holistic development ( not only academic)

I feel my child is really lucky.

He has build good friendships and many wonderful memories these few years 🧒

ive been looking for a good school nearby for the longest time, the previous school my child was in gave me a scare in terms of hygiene practice... Didn't like how the way they do things also. The open concept school initially I thought was fun and spacious but like many first time mummies, I didn't know it can get so noisy when the number adds up, the Teachers from one \"class\" (they only uses cabinet to divide the class) needs to raise their voice to get attention from the kids the other class teacher does the same and the kids get really distracted due to the open concept when I went in to peep during One of the lessons My boy didn't like school and I don't think he's learning. I've to pull him out within a month and forgo my deposit. To me most important is the health and mood of the child, in order for him to learn well all these must be met and also this time round no more open concept schools for him, will prefer classrooms as its more structured.


But Glad that I've found Mindchamps at buangkok been there for a while now and learning really well. They have a team of very good and committed Teachers. He's much happier (not sure it's because they have those huge gym and playground which he can channel his energy) eats better, fall sick less (hygiene to me is utmost important, I don't like those landed kind of school to me it's very difficult to maintain The cleanliness, this school uses those machines PD use to kill germs) and I really like the curriculum. As a Ks mum And a teacher myself I always hope to be able to teach my child ahead so that when he goes to Pri school he would have know at least the basics. So when I knew that they cover the stuffs they are suppose to learn at Pri school in simpler and fun manner I was really excited, :razz: cuz that's what I wanted to do. Heard RGS ex Principal contribute to the curriculum team. Now that's he settled and learning very well it give me a peace of mind at work hope all these pointers and my exp helps when it comes to choosing your school.

Been to a few preschools around Hougang, Serangoon north and AMK. Lately, just saw Mindchamps is opening near my Mum’s place at serangoon north ave 5, and got really excited. My nephew’s peers from Mindchamps all transits very well to primary school, i think due to their strong curriculum. I hope the centre will prepare my son will as im intending to send him to Roysth if it’s possible, will be visiting the centre next week.
