    • RE: Cedar Girls Secondary School

      KiasuDaddy:

Can share which shop selling and estimate cost of this shoe?
I have not bought the shoes yet. Asking because some school doesn't allow black soles. I've seen this at Sports Link AMK. Didn't take note of the price.

Just in case she doesn't meet the criteria of 253.

Previously, the P mentioned that the COP for affiliation will be increased to 253 instead of 250. Not sure whether it has been implemented.
      I see :thankyou:

Why would a NYPS girl DSA into NYGH if there’s already an affiliation? Is it because she wants to ‘secure’ a CCA if via DSA sports? What about academic? Pls enlighten me.

      JJ1111:

Hi! The CCAs you can join in JH are either the CCAs in the first chart or the CCAs in the second chart marked with a bracket that writes\"(JH+SH)\". The CCAs you can join in SH are all the CCAs in the second chart.
By the way JH(junior high) is equivalent to secondary 1-4 while SH(senior high) is equivalent to JC students:) I hope this answers your question.
      :thankyou: I understand now

I had been to open house last Sat, Nanyang Girls is base on overall academic result , but RGS is base on individual subject. Not sure about Cedar.

Can anyone explain to me about the CCA in NJC?

      http://www.njc.edu.sg/campus_activities.htm

There's Junior High CCA programs (Table 1) & JH & SH CCA programs (Table 2). What does Table 1 mean?

In Table 2, some CCA has (JH + SH). Those without means what?

      Thanks

Yes sng offers DSA for 'O' level track but using Sports.

      :thankyou:

Its not easy to DSA St Nick thru sports. If I didn't remember wrongly only 18 vacancy, so if your child is not one of school team or National team, chances are low.
      :thankyou:

My DD is from neighbourhood school, scored 85% in her recent SA1. She's in sch team for her CCA sports and her sch competed in sch national last year but didn't make it to the final, I would think it's the same for this year.

She had bronze for NMOP last year and silver for SMOP this year. Which will give her a better chance to enter DSA? Academic or Sports?

Say, if she accepted DSA O level (either academic or sports) and did well in PSLE, would she be able to appeal for IP?

      Many thanks
