RE: 2015 PSLE Discussion and Strategies
The question for Q5 is an average of 25 for 3 of the 4 games. They are asking for the minimum to get to round 2. Most average question do not have minimum, by minimum meaning that there are also other possible answer but you select the minimum.
So eg. if the person select Test 2,3,4 for the average of 3 it will be 23+24+28=75 (75/3=25)
If the person select test 1,2,4 for the average, then 21+23+31=75. meaning test 4 have to be 31.
Therefore, selecting the minimum will be (28). -

The school allocation is based on merit, basically in the MOE systems all PSLE student is rank in order highest to lowest, there is decimal points. Also the HMT can only be used for applying to SAP secondary school.hmsg:
My dd principal did said that sec sch allocation is based on t-scores n not ranked order of sch selection.
But there is still unresolved issue regarding school allocation. For example if Student A gets 255 and Student B gets 253+2. Who will get in first? Does MOE consider Raw Score first before taking in the Bonus points??
Also, I want to caution parents when selecting secondary schools. In the event your child cannot get into the First Choice school for example, and then decided to appeal. The order of school selection makes a difference although this is not something they will publicly tell you. When submitting your appeal form, some schools ask for your order of school selection. In the past, I have heard from a parent that the school actually asked \"Why didn't you put my school as first choice?\". On another occasion, I heard from a friend whose friend is a Primary School principal. She warned her to be careful when making the secondary school selection and the order in which she applied for the secondary school. -

RE: Maha Bodhi
Are you aware that P4 form teachers are teaching 3 main core subjects namely English, Science and Maths?
And to add to the problems, there are teachers going on frequent sick leaves and maternity leaves.

Just when to the school, fill up a form (name of school, student name, index no, subject to re-check & remarks), pay $, that's it.
What is the last day to submit for recheck? and when will they inform you about the outcome of the recheck? -
