RE: Q&A - P1 Math
Hi parents
need advise for division question:
12 divide by 6 = 2
if there are 12 objects, does the child group by circling 6 objects or 2 objects?
Should my explanation be : 12 objects shared among 6 friends and each friend gets 2 ?
or 12 objects shared by 2 friends and each friend gets 6?
Which is the correct explanation? -

Hi JedamumOh dear. My boy does not seem to enjoy school. He said a lot of time spent sitting down in the hall to listen to talks about school rules. He gets restless easily and because so far he can control his behavior in school, he acts up at home, demanding attention from me. His favourite period is recess! Lol.
I hope it gets better when lesson starts next week.
Think it's quite normal for children to demand more attn from us now because they may be \"stressed\" in one way or another due to this new phase.
My DS2 has some difficulty waking up in the morning and on the 3rd day, also did show a bit of his unhappiness. However once he reached school, he was ok. I am also hoping that it gets better when he is used to the routine.
Attended a briefing session in his school and was told that the first 3 days, no formal lesson but has to orientate the children, how to queue up, etc.
Hopefully all the P1 children will get used to the school routine soon. -
