2DMommy:Thanks! I have also just checked with ds's form teacher. They will change class for the purpose of interaction and to have more friends. No mention of PTC at all, strange. Anyone's ds in P2? I've some doubts about the given answers of the Maths paper and currently waiting for clarifications with the teacher.Hi hugeclaw,
Every year the school holds PTC after the SAs but there's no news this year :? There's no streaming in P3, all of mixed ability. Streaming only from P5 onwards.

RE: Maris Stella High
Hi, my ds is in P2. Does anyone have any idea will there be a PTC before school closes? Is it true for P3 classes, the boys will be streamed according to their academic results? :scared:

RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
Juz a reminder for all. If one uses parent’s/in-law’s address for registration, you’ve to add 1km to the distance, ie, if your parent’s address is within 1km, MOE will take that as 1-2km.

RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
MSH latest update at 4.30pm
No. of Vacancies : 97
Applicants
Within 1km : 54
1 to 2km : 59
Outside 2km : 8
Balloting for within 2km
59 will ballot for 43 places
The balloting is on 11Aug at 2pm. Normally the school will let the children around draw the lots…Good luck! -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
Oh so sad to hear that, guess most of us won’t know of this MOE rule that the child must be taken care of ‘all along’ by the grandparents. So you’ll be registering the school at sengkang? Anyway looking at MSH statistics now, I quite sure that balloting will be in for 1-2km.

RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
aaadaddy…thanks for the info. I went for the registration yesterday and generally parents there for the registration are staying nearby, have seen quite a couple of them who have forgotten to bring some documents and came back with them within a short time. Genuinely hope that these parents will be able to secure the place for their kids. As for us, let fate decide on whether our kids are really ‘meant’ for the school. Best of luck to you!

Daddy
Tks! I like MSH coz it's within walking distance from my home (dun koe why it falls under 1-2km though), think I'll try my luck and go for the balloting. Plan B would be St Gabriel or Yangzheng Pri.

Just called up MSH, the no. of vacancies left for phase 2C is 96. The admin lady is also surprised by the 'overwhelming' figures for 2B, she said normally there would be 'balance' to carry over to 2C, thus for those who fall under 1-2km, confirm must join the balloting.
Hi hugeclaw... so u enrolling your kid for MSH in Phase2C? Or planning for other schs as Plan B?
Wish u luck.

Hmm...no idea whether they will reduce 1 seat for 2C. The best is to give them a call?[/quote]Thanks! I'll call them.
Thanks for the update! Do u hv any idea the no. of vacancies for 2C still stay at 97 or would it be reduced due to this?hugeclaw:
[quote=\"Afat\"]Hi, latest update from Maris Stella
No balloting for phase 2B this year. It's stated 99 applicants for 98 places. But according to Maris Stella, a pair of twins have registered and they counted as one. Hence no balloting :celebrate: -
