We were fortunate. K1 DD loved the first LC Holland teacher & was filled with joy after class. She said that this teacher unlike her Kindy class teachers did not ask her to \"shut up\" or ignore her but got her to participate lots in class. We never look back since signing her up for this whole yr and shall continue for next whole yr.


teachers are most important to the development of a child's interest to read.

Anyone have Filipino maid to recommend? Need someone to look after an elderly lady who just diagnose with cancer. Not going for chemotherapy or radiation. Still active but we are preparing ahead of time.


Need do housework, clean house thoroughly since immune not so strong and wheelchair patient for a walk outside, accompany to doctor etc. Training shall be provided. Let me know.

I just registered my son for N1 at BRMCK starting Jan 2013 (PM class). Happy to read so many positive feedback from BRMCK parents here. I do have a question, though, if my son take the Montesorri class before his main stream PM class, it means he has class from 8:30-11:30 then 12:00 to 3:00!!!
How about nap time? N1 kids are only 2+, isn't the hours a bit long for them? Can tahan or not??? Cos one of the parent, J_C_M_L, here recommended Montesorri for N1 N2 then Multiple Intelligence (intensive Chinese) for K1 K2. I am very tempted but would like to know more on this subject, please advise!

Hi Karen,
You may ask the school to let your child take a nap from 11.30am onwards for half hour or more. FYI i started my child is a Dec child when she first started at N2 at this school/Montessori. They did offer her but it seems she doesn't want to nap since she's having so much fun with her friends.

Do prepare the pillows or blanket needed for nap.

Hi Parents,

I’m a happy parent since sending my child to BRMCK early this year. Whilst it is more local than the past international environment, her learnings and progress here always surprise me.

Besides the regular kindy programme, we also Sign up for Montessori and we saw progress in child’s motor skills, language capability and confidence. Child whilst not as close to the teachers as in the past childcare as they tend to be stern, which we are totally ok with it. We believe the need to discipline kid early. Have observed the teachers, they are very firm and caring, which our child needs.

Even the traffic to school and parking amazes us. It isn’t as bad as what we expect. We tend to drop her couple of minutes before 8.30am. traffic whilst heavy is still a breeze when we drove from Eng Neo through Dunern Road. Dropping off is quick every morning and we get to drive off within 2-3 mins.

Hope that this helps parents who are thinking to put your child here.

To add, we are glad that they closed the centre even though they have not met the MCYS set quota for HFMD. Safer.

Yes, agree with u entirely. tat’s why bought in2 the idea of sending child to a montessori programme.

H/w as understand, different sch may offer diff curriculum depending on the teachers/materials used. That’s why my question on authenticity.
