Hi all, can someone share abt pathlight school? I know it is for high functioning autistic kids n learnt thru website. Does the sch provide challenging curriculum or teaching main stream like primary classes? Are the kids group acc to iq n behavioural issue. My therapists kept saying it is a v special sch that suits iq high kids. I am juz concern if my boy follows the wrong behaviour eg throw tantrum cos he is dx w asperger syn. Sorry if it sounds offensive. But my boy can argued why he cant do but others can. Afraid hard to change him if he encounters tt at sch. He behaves perfect at home n I may not know wat happen at sch. I really need insider story. Thanks.

English Writing test.

we have some Chinese writing home works and some papers before the test. but I haven't seen any English writing test for practicing paper. my son told me he practiced in MLEA book. but the book I haven't seen in this term 3. my son didn't show me as too many errors?

Wrong info. My boy juz told me he had story writing yesterday. Think it is a test. 4 pictures to write at least 2 sentence ea. Today is chinese one. Hope he can write to make some sense.

Hi vinegar, u are oredi a patient mum. If I were u, I will said eat it or leave it. I know a working mother who still cook for her univ daughter. This is how great a mother can b but the daughter never help to wash the dishes. We need to demand our rights sometimes. We are so used to serve the kids tt we forgot they need to serve ppl in workforce. Time to change them at young.

I also hv not seen his MLEA book for quite a while. He brought back comprehension worksheets quite often these days. according to the term 3, indv writing is done in MLEA. Written class test based on grammar vocab n comprehension.

Hi funny, my boy in p1 this yr. Class form teacher is strict in many aspects eg correct handwriting. I quite like the strict sch rules n was told abt tt before enrolling my boy. Not sure wat was it like w previous principal.

Thanks 2ppaam. I appreciate ur helpful comments. We used cane n timeout. The word caning is enough to scare him. school suggested a time out room, not in used yet. I told them to show him the cane. We are not tt lenient to him. After caning for misbehave, he would feel sorry tt he cannot control n will try to improve. Talking to him 1 to 1 did help but still he cannot interact w his peers. At sch, he cannot relate wat happen just said every thing is bad to him. Very negative thots. His anxiety tantrum is triggerred easily. Any training course uknow tt can help? Thanks.


My kid cannot control his behaviour. Not tt he wants to behave like tt after numerous nagging. Oredi said he has AP. For scholar, i hv no comments. I don’t see the association to my boy unless they hv AP as well.
