Hi, I am asking for a rather-specialized favour and kind of help for a friend of mine who is currently studying and working concurrently; albeit knowing that this place might not be the best place to ask. He was very anti-social and had very few friends in his younger schooling years, and is currently lacking opportunities for face-to-face interaction with others.


He did not join a club in school because studying and working already took up too much of his time, and wants to spend more time on his interests, and is also unmotivated to make friends in school due to the part-time nature of his course making it hard for him to do so. He feels that despite feeling lonely, he prefers to spend more time researching into the fields that he is interested in.

Currently, he is interested in moving to Japan to be an English teacher in the future and is also somewhat interested in doing talent management. He also wants to start self-study Japanese on his own soon, however, he finds it a very lonely experience to learn solely from textbooks and talking to people online, yet his financial background and parental objection makes it hard for him to pay for regular Japanese lessons.

He would also like to know if there are any places he can go to, or contacts that he can be referred to, to make friends with Japanese people, to learn more about their culture firsthand.
Any constructive advice on this matter is appreciated.

We disallow our ds playing games at home as he become v obsessed. But ended up he played in school during any free time. It is hard to control as there is wifi available in school. While we hv confiscated his hp fr the time being, i wonder if there's any way to \"childlock\" the wifi in school

The only real first step is to contact the schools that you want to transfer to, directly, for their opinion.

How is the "quitting" actually done, per se?

May affect her cv in future if no CCA as employers may prefer all-rounders.

Though past a certain point in time, job experience overwrites CCA achievements in the resume.

Depends on whether the subject would be needed for requirements in the subject combinations in JC.

Is there a reason for the refusal for sending him for counselling?

Referring to private tuition or group tuition?

Will getting them to type on Whatsapp Web give you more liberty of observation and monitoring?

Would have wanted to join swimming back then, if my school offerred it. Now, the interest has dwindled given all the commitments I have as a tertiary student.
