I feel at the end of the day we need to see where our children fit and if they enjoy the classes. Whether it's LP, MS, TLL, TAS... Actually for me I tried a few centres but TAS was the one that really worked for my child. I'm just happy to find a centre that works! Don't think there's a one size fits all centre.
Hi N.Lo
I do agree with you... I am still trying to figure out about my son's P3 English & Science class next year... I didn't realise how difficult it is to decide...
I know LP max 12 kids/class.., TAS max 12 kids/class as well yes...?
Thank You. -

I was told TAS max is 12 per class correct?Yes, class size & the teacher are 2 crucial factors.
Weekday class normally lesser kids, compared to weekend classes.
Weekend classes can be filled to the maximum capacity.
Better to go for weekday lessons, for Tas.
What is LP class size? -

Hi Lovinglife, Ran1977lovinglife:
There is no one recipe fits ALL the child. Every child is different in their learning style. LP has good programmes around but it is not necessary fit every child. Good programmes also required good teachers to carry out, otherwise no use right?
:goodpost:
Well said.
Thankfully my son is benefitting tremendously from LP classes.
And he has the privilege to be under good teachers at LP :xedfingers:
Does LP give out a lot of homework? If yes, what kind of homework?
Thank You... -
RE: Learning Point - Discussion
My son will be in P3 next year, 2014. I have finally decided to give Learning Point Science class a chance, since their fairly new branch in Bk Timah Plaza which is convenient for me…
but when I called them they said, next year they only have confirmed P5 Science class; they said that if enough P3 parents show interest they will start P3 Science class…
I’m hoping that some KSP might be interested? They just need 4 to start a new class… Thanks. -

Hi Julialai,mamona:
89 views but no answer yet. Appreciate if some one suggest some tuition centre.
I know of a really good tutor from tuition centre @ Holland area. She's one of the best kept secrets, many high ability kids under her in my DS's school but parents kiasu or selfish, don't want to recommend. Slowly one by one quit own tuition and switch to her. After I sent my son to her, I see why the kids love her, very inspiring. Can pm u if you don't mind the travel.
Can pm me your tutor's contact @Holland please. Thank You. -
