Yes, as far as i know, most secondary school only have 1 recess and dismiss time varies from 1.40 - 2.40pm. I have another children at other school also same. I ask my kids to take lunch at school as it is already very late if go home eat.

Asked your son whether does he still want to stay in this sch? If no, maybe you should try transfer him out of the school. Get him those sch with AED trained teacher, approach MP or even MOE to make such request.

I also think you should bring up to MOE if you n sch cannot compromise on the punishment… I too think that everyone deserve chance and b forgive, u as the parent hv the right to chose accept or disagree with the cane punishment.

I think u should sit down with ur son n talk to him heart to heart. Then march to the sch n discuss with the DM, teacher n principal… Is caning the best option for ur son now? Especially ur son emotion r not stable. U can argue with them, 13 y/o may not understand the whole situation n it will only worst the matter if caning is involve… Hope tat help.

My maid been with me for the 5th year, her contract supposed to expire next May. After last contract she went back for 23 days home leave and I paid her fully. Now she want to break the contract as she had found an ang mo employer but only come in July, she said she willing to pay me for breaking contract.
