I am trying to decide between Joy Little Schoolhouse, Red Schoolhouse and Maple Bear.

All of which are at Midview. May I know if anyone has any review that they can share?

Have you tried any? I joined Maple Bear but am thinking of changing to Joy Little. I like Maple Bear for the environment and teachers but my child needs a more chinese environment. Would like to know more about Joy Little. Which childcare did you sign up for in the end?

Hi . It's a late post but I would like to check if you or any mummies out here signed up with joy little ? I'm looking for PG class and found joy little environment old. But the only thing that attracts me is the Chinese speaking environment which I probably need for my child. Anybody has feedback about their Montessori curriculum or their teachers quality?

Not sure what are the criterias that Ps are assigned to the schools. However one thing very clear MOE will never post a P from a \"no brand\" school to NYPS :siam:

Yes. Too many influential parents in that school and all the kids there are driven to aim for highest grades for IP track etc. If a neighbourhood P got posted there and cannot produce the same track records , I'm sure a lot of angry petitions from influential and rich parents . Haha

P is important as they lead the school in the right directions. Teachers follow directions and instructions esp on the teaching materials.


In the PTC , I ask about their teaching materials in addition to what MOE prescribed. The teacher asked me to check with principal. See ?

Hope this new P shares the vision of leading aitong into a good ranking school. And not like her previous posting in Park View with no impressive results at all.

I’m sure parents who send their kids to aitong, some from the opposite end of bishan, wanted a good school that produce results.

New principal from park view. I wonder how the standard of aitong will be affected. This principal doesn’t seem to have any good track records during her tenure in park view since 2009. They have not produce fantastic PSLE results .


Is it only me who is worried about how she can continue to lead aitong in her next 7 years ? I’m sure a couple of our kids here will be under her leadership for the PSLE.

The student care is not very fantastic. Quality of teachers need improvement as most of them are not very experienced. More like child care centre. When kids do not have homework , they do not engage them but just leave them alone to play . Waste of time

They have very good holiday programme tho like baking , excursions , science experiments

You will receive sms from school to inform class allocation nearer to orientation

The incharge Linda in Agape little uni in mid view city is very irresponsible and always Mia. Called up the school to enquire about infant care last Thursday and was told got 3 vacancies and will call me to arrange a viewing on Fri. She called me and we arranged on Friday at 2pm and she asked me to look for her. I reached at 2pm and the staff told me she went out for lunch . Will be back at 3pm. So I went back at 3pm and she still not around. Another teacher brought me around the infant care.


I went back to consider and decided to enrol my bb to the agape and cancel another school. On Monday , I called to talk to her but again she was not around. I left my contact and name but this time never call back. I called again today she was hold on the line for quite a while then the teacher got back to me and said again she not around . Plus TOLD ME NO MORE VACANCY IN THE INFANT CARE. SHE SAID LINDA HAS OVERLOOKED . I told the staff I have confirmed two times with her and one time with the infant care in charge and was told there are slots. I rejected another side and now u told me no slots and just a sorry.. we have overlooked. Plus the teacher just told me I just get the info from the top.. nothing to do with me.

I felt that the school management has very bad attitude and very irresponsible .

I am glad I didn't enrol my boy inside. I can imagine anything happen.. the in charge will MIA or maybe she don't even know anything inside the school.

Just to share my experience w mid view city. The management Is very disorganised and teachers are bad quality. I withdraw my child from their nursery classes.

So which infant care did u sign up in the end ? I'm also looking for one.
