what specs did u get? care to share thx
I ordered a customised laptop from JK and it’s still cheaper than the Sitex and Apple website. I feel JK deals are the best. So if you are not satisfied with the 2 or 3 offered on JK website and want something in between, email them for a quote. -

Catalina is the newest OS. However, any Mac bought in the last 4 years should be able to update to Catalina.zeezeemmm\" post_id=\"1950436\" time=\"1574946618\" user_id=\"182647:
Hi.
Has anyone ordered from JK and when is the earliest delivery date?
Sitex is on at Expo until Sunday. Can check it out before ordering from JK although I must say JK is the most attractive price and meet the specs. The ones at Challenger & Gain City looks like a good deal but have the old Mac OS Mojave. The school mentioned Mac OS Catalina.
There’s no reason to get from Gain City and Challenger if you are able to get education pricing (which is like... everyone on this thread). Some of you may even be eligible for corporate pricing. Give Apple a call to find out. For those on a budget, Apple refurbished set is a steal (buy from Apple website). If you want to learn more about their laptops, head down to Jewel or Orchard store. Their Genius will be more than happy to run you through their systems.
Last but not least, the latest MacBook Pro 13” (1.4Ghz quad-core i5) is already an overkill for students. No need to get the 16” unless they enjoy carrying heavier weights around. Serious media production stuff are usually not suitable for laptop in any case (due to the smaller real estate). If necessary, the 13” can handle them just fine (unless you are rendering a full size HD movie production). The money saved can be put to better use like getting a 20+” monitor if you are into media stuff.
hi,what is the education price for macbook pro 13\"? -
