      Hi,

Can anyone help me with the following P5 Maths questions. Thanks in advance.

Q2. The number of children spectators at the Judo competition is 4/5 of the number of adults. There are 120 more adults than children. The number of boys is 4 times the number of girls. What is the total number of boys watching the competition?

Q3. 1/2 of Joshua’s savings is equal to 4/5 of Megan’s savings. The difference between their savings is $15. What is Megan’s total savings?

Q4. The number of men at a gathing was 3/5 that of women and children. The number of children was 1/3 that of men. If there were 15 children present, how many women were at the gathering?

    • Entropion Surgery

      Hi,

My son will be going for Entropion Surgery on both eyes during March School Holiday. Its an eyelid problem where the eyelid margin rolls inward towards the eye. As a result, the eyelashes constantly rub against the cornea. Currently, his vision is perfect but there are scratches in his cornea and it will affect his vision if do not correct this problem.

The doctor told us there will still be 20% chances that the problem will re-occur after the surgery but chances are very slim. I am very worry as there will be a scar after the surgery although the doctor had assured us that it will fade off.

I would like to hear from anyone who had gone thru this and share their experience with us.

      Thanks

    • RE: Travel: Japan - General

Thanks for all your advise. 😄

We decided to focus just Tokyo/Hakone, we want a free and relax trip so decided not to have too many places for our 1st trip. Are the following places suitable for kids.

Asakusa, Ueno, Ameyoko, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Akihabara, Imperial Palace and Ginza.

Yes, i do agreed. Initially i plan for tokyo only but hubby want to include osaka and hiroshima. If Tokyo alone, 10 days should be sufficient to travel around.

Do you have any advise for my itinerary, just tokyo and Hakone.

      Thanks
