    • RE: Edusave Scholarship Award

      Gd morning

Can I check for Sec 1 (last year P6) receiving their Edusave Awards this year-- do they wear their current Secondary school uniform or do they wear their last year P6 uniform?
      Thanks

259 as per the Principal’s address.

1 point increase from the previous year’s PSLE cut-off

      Hi

Any parents interested for carpooling to/from Katong/ Amber/ Marine Parade/ Joo Chiat area?

We can work out something among us (take turn driving/ share grab) to cut down travelling time by public transport

      Join whatsapp group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/FrmbA5YGtOICpbL0Wi9JUK

No obligation, just exploring option here with another mummy who lives nearby. Both of our sons are in sec 1

      Thank you
Maybe getting the kids to use public transport maybe a better option given the early morning traffic :?

Do the students put the uniform on a hanger and put the entire thing in the duffel bag or do handcarry the hanger (with the uniform hanging on it). That way it will not get crumpled.
      :thankyou:

Best to handcarry the hanger (with uniform).

Each student will later hang their respective hangers (previously was hung in classrooms along window grills).

Label your hangers or put hanger in labeled coat bag (can purchase from Daiso) or large handcarry plastic bag.

Thanks so much for this. Really helpful 😄

the link to the packing list is here, login details are in file given during reporting day. https://welcome.ri.edu.sg

      Thank you.
For the school uniform that there will be bringing for the JRIC - it is stated it must be on a hanger.

      Hihi

I am made to understand that the Booklist will be given tomorrow. But what I understand that many of the books (eg textbooks) listed in the booklist are not even touched by the teachers who prefer to use their own notes. So my question is:
      1) Will the Principal in his speech tomorrow tell us what to buy and what not to?
      2) Or if not - how do we know as we only intend to buy those books essentially needed?
      Thanks

261 RGS first choice rejected? Wah really atas leh... they should just put COP at 261.5 better

Meeting the cutoff point is not enough. Might as well meet the decimal point.

      Agreed 😄

      Hihi

A friend is asking. If a child meets the COP of the school and appeals, will:
      1) the appeal be a guaranteed sucess?
      2) if not successful - could it be determined by the decimal point that MOE has for every student?

      Thank you.🙂

Is it also true that ESIS holders will not be awarded top 10% scholarship?

I think ESIS holders are not entitled to anymore Edusave awards

      Is this true??
