Dunno which episode already liao.... 😉

Yes,
remind me of those long winded several hundreds of Taiwanese drama shown every Saturday and Sunday weekend on TV channel 8, where they continued to play & repeat the same broken record all over again, keep harping on the same old issue, same story line, similar to someone familiar here who keep picking on EJC, keep be-littled and snubbed, throw stones, throw cold water at EJC,

inspite of the proven fact & reality that

EJC had shown improvement tremendously in her L1R5 admission score for both (Science & Arts), until now on par with both NJC and VJC

Really, one should give credit, when credit is due

But then 2nd class treatment towards JAE kids in Ejc isnt same story line.
Its a brewing problem college has yet / fails to address issue.
Oh no. The “same” cast under different aliases is back to post fake news on EJC again?

Is NYJC supporters so scared of EJC that they do this without fail, year after year?

Just curious, why not NYGH if SNGS an option? NYGH and MGS will be on par on distance, and leave you to compare A vs IB merits seriously.

NYGH was also on our list, however after recce the journey and route, we rather consider RGS, St Nicks, MGS.
NYGH waslking route from mrt is rather far. Plus my gal isn't keen on NYGH so that goes out of list.

If your child isn't keen, then no point to force the issue. But NYGH is not bad for MRT connectivity, becos many students will take a bus for 1 or 2 stops going to or from the school (connecting to Sixth Ave / Tan Kah Kee station). Kinda similar to St Nicks, I think.
Its less than 100m from st nicks to the upcoming Mayflower statiom

Hello, I'm quite new to this platform but would really appreciate all the advice given. My daughter scored 251+3 for hmt and not so sure about the schools she wants to go. We are staying in the north.
1) Rvhs
2) St.nicks O level
3)Cedar girls O level
4)Nan hua high

Not really sure about the last couple choices but would really appreciate any help as I dont really know about sec schools in singapore.
RVHS is in Jurong, Nan Hua in Clenti, and Cedar in Macpherson area.....Dont think you want to travel that far....Seems like St nicks is the nearest to where you are staying

Think you got no reply because this question is kind of unbelievable.

Not really.

I think people naturally assumed high scorers should pick RGS because it’s a R school. However, some people might prefer Cedar - last year’s highest scorer for Cedar was actually a 270 pointer.

At the end of the day, it’s a personal choice and both schools are very good schools.

And it could be the mother tongue subject and want girls school. Hence, nothing in between.
Academically wise, Prestige wise, Networking wise, History wise, R is way ahead of C. What else does she wants to compare?

Is this year T-scores dropped? I didn't hear any 270+. My DS neighbourhood school didn't have many students scoring above 250s (around 5-8 out of 240 students). Just curious!!

Din hear of any 270+ but there were many who got 260+ and 250+

hi,
my girl scored 257. Was hoping she can make it above 260 for RGS. Any good choices for IP , near novena side ?
with 257, she can try St Nicks (AMK), MGS (BT), SCGS (BT), NJC (BT) Maybe Dunman High too ?

If your girl has Higher Chinese pts, can use for St Nicks and Dunman High
