You need at least a day for Great Ocean Road. I think it’s too rush to squeeze in St Kilda beach and Science Museum and you have a 4 year old with you.

RE: Travel: Australia - Melbourne
I am also looking for places to do Australia VISA. I called up Farmosa today and they quoted me $15. Better call them before you go down. I called whole day yesterday but no one pick up.
Other than the online application that charges AUD20, is this the only place that does Australia VISA for Singapore passport holders? -
RE: Travel: Australia - Melbourne
Hi
We will be going to Melbourne this Nov. We would be renting car for the trips outside Melbourne. The cost of renting GPS from the car rental company and bringing my own GPS is about the same. The advantage would be that I am more familiar with my own equipment.
For those who used the rented car ones, are they easy to use and reliable?
is there any nice and reasonably price restaurant in the CBD area? -
RE: Nan Hua Primary
Hi hi,
My kid will be starting P1 next year. Can anyone share some information about the student care cos this is totally new to me.
- Are students of all ages group together?
- I read somewhere that there is nap time for P1 students. How long is the nap time?
- Is there a fixed schedule of what the students will be doing or does it depend on the individual and the teachers just supervise?
Many thanks! -
RE: 2014 P1 Registration Exercise for 2015 In-Take
P2C is always the most competitive. For SC who take the risk to register at a popular school and is unsuccessful will not be able to turn back to register at their second choice school simply because the second choice school will most likely be popular at P2C and would have its vacancies taken by SC who opt not to ballot in P2C as well as SPR who will fill up the seats after the SC.
The result is the SC may end up with a school that is the least preferred and depending on the schools that remain available at P2cs. Wouldn’t it be fairer for registration be open to all SC first and have all SC registered before the SPR and foreigners are considered?
SPR has a choice to convert to SC, isn’t it? If he/she didn’t, shouldn’t SC be allowed to take priority first?
Parents of SC who only have P2C to start off with only have 1 chance while SPR who are elibible for earlier phases would have already given 1 more chance. -

Exactly! It seems that the school does not have up-to-date data on the internet submission. And then, later tonight, when MOE publish the data, there is no info on the distance. Why can’t all schools publish the distance info and whether SC or not at the end of everyday. Doesn’t this save the hassle of everyone calling up the school and admin staff picking up endless calls asking about the same thing. There is nothing secretive about such info, isn’t it?

RE: 2014 P1 Registration Exercise for 2015 In-Take
I think everyone should just register as early as possible. Why? So that it gives yourself and others a clear indication of the chances. If everyone wait and see and all register on the last day...will have heart attack esp if first 2 days low registration and there is surge in application on the last day after the registration closed, resulting in a reduced chance where you might not be prepared to take *faint* :slapshead:

For online submission, do we need to bring down the original documents for verification by Friday?
