Any of your kids is at city square branch? I chanced upon this thread and I will like to know about the cirriculums and teachers there. I am looking for a maths class for my boy. He has problems doing simple addtions. e.g. 2+2. Thinking to send him to a class to learn basic maths. We tried to teach him at home but it may be due to the wrong techniques we used or our impatience, he starts to show phobia in maths.

Sorry for my ignorant…asd and adhd are the same? i think better go make an appt for him. I realise his condition seems to get worse. even at home, can’t really keep still for a short while. and when we call him, he doesnt heard too.

I will like to seek opinions or help…thanks.

My boy is in N2 this year and his tr has feedback to us that he moves a lot during classes, not able to sit still for long and concentration span is very short. This is not the first time we got such feedback. He attended chinese enrichment class and the tr there also feedback on this. I’m worrying if he has ADHD as he does have some signs on this. E.g. insists his way when I tried to reason him, can’t concentrate and not listening when tried to go through some activities.
I’m trying to find out if there is any support group which i can seek advise on. Tried talking with mummy colleagues and friends and mostly, i will get brushed off by comments that he is still young, it’s normal. But I myself feel it’s not the normal development.
Am I too paranoid to feel my boy has ADHD since he’s N2? Thx!

My hb is an ex-ACS and we are just from humble background. As I will need to decide if I want to register for PV in other neighbourhood schools, I like to know if it is true that acsp is mostly for rich kids…cos I do not wish my boy facing such peer pressure on this and that.
Even hb himself is also hesitate to let our boy goes back to study his alma mater.

Hence, really hope to hear opinions from the inside. Thanks again.
