is there still an active whatsapp group for parents of HCI students?

I am only aware of a similar group on WeChat by the mainly Chinese-speaking parents

if everyone just sus but don’t have concrete evidence, the authority is not going to investigate. More people will just exploit the loophole, if they can afford.

Has anyone noticed the crowd at HCI open house is overwhelmingly PRC (China) in terms of the students and parents?

Any idea roughly how many % of the student population each cohort is from PRC (China) or their parents are from PRC, including those so-called New Citizen?

Yes, emails were sent out on 15 July after 4pm. Perhaps no news is better for now since the parents I’ve heard from directly are ones who also received rejection emails for English, Chinese and Infocomm, these 3 domains only. Science and Maths applicants are still waiting tor updates from HCI.

I meant HCI has sent out emails to shortlisted candidates to attend selection test/interview on 27 July, and they have also sent out rejection emails to inform those applicants who have not been selected for further review.

Hmm… from what I gathered, I think there are still ppl in these few domains who have not received any interview / rejection emails. That’s why I am asking you specifically which domain and whether it’s acceptance or rejection, if you don’t mind sharing

After viewing all the various kids ergonomic desks and chairs, nothing beats Moll in terms of quality and design. The only issue is the high price ~$3000 if you add in the options and the chair.

As I have some existing connections in Europe, I will be looking at importing the Moll children desks and chairs myself, which will be at a fraction of the price in Singapore, probably even cheaper than those Taiwan brands sold in Singapore. If anyone is interested to join me, just pm/email me, i will see if i have any spare cargo space.
