      Hi

Anyone attended RGS sports domain interview? Can share what questions they asked?

      Thank you in advance.

You may have missed point 17 from the RGS DSA Interview Guide:

      - Do not talk about what went on during the e-interview with any student, teacher or your family. This is to ensure confidentiality as these DSA e-interviews may be conducted over several days and there would be other students who will be attending the e-interviews after you. If you don’t say anything about it, you will maintain confidentiality for sure!

Better to rephrase as generic question to those whose DD/DS attended sports domain interview and the questions posted. May not be relevant to RGS but better than none as reference for your kid.

Noted. Thank you for pointing it out.

      Hi

When we applied DSA, we didnt select O / IP track.
If we get CO and school is willing to offer IP, then will they just indicate BOTH track for us to choose which track we want? Or they MUST indicate either O / IP track that they are going to offer.

once the school offer your child a CO (or a Wait-list), their verdict (decision made) is final.
The Secondary DSA school will only offer you one track - either (IP or O-level)
They won't let you choose anymore, whether still prefer O-level or IP.
Thus, if your interview attendance is over, yet if you feel strongly that

      a) IP track suits your child more,

      or

      b) O-level track suits your child better, in the next 4 years,

call up the interviewers, provide reasons explaining which track is preferred, before they made up their decision. Once verdict (their offer) come out, cannot change anymore

      Thank you for the explanation.

Yes. It is feasible. You can either walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT or take a bus from Dhoby Ghaut MRT and alight after 2 bus stops at peace centre. Then walk to school from there.

Anyone sent their kids to speech academy ?? Need some feedback 🙂

The teachers there are not really that qualified. Most of them are part timers. There are no control of class size and at times there can be more than 10 students from different age group combined into 1 class. And due to large class size , instead of individual student giving Speech, the students were often grouped into team. And by grouping, students who are less vocal will be deprived of speaking which defeats the main purposes of sending your child to speech lessons.

      Dont waste your money .
